What a fun group of kids to take out for candy hunting.
We hit the neighborhood pretty hard this year. Harder than we've hit it in the years past. We saw some of our favorite neighbors (Mrs. Johnson and the Cooks)--it just wouldn't be Halloween if we didn't visit these two first.
All the kids fared pretty well. They didn't complain much and it really was a pretty mild night for walking.
We came home and did our tradition of watching Hocus Pocus while eating all the candy they wanted for a 30 minute time period. I may have enjoyed a few too many chocolate bars during this time, too.
Grandma and Auntie were able to join us this year. This made our time extra special--definitely one of the perks of being close to family.
