Scrunchie is 7 months old

Ohhh, my little Scrunchie. Sorry this is a few days late, but I am glad I have a chance to update--I don't want to forget a moment of this sweet time in life. It's a time of crazy adventure and there's always something new going on.

Someday when you are all grown up, I will wish these years of little sleep and frazzled nerves back. I'll wish the snuggles on my lap. They way you rub your face into me. The smell of you baby neck. The way you smile when you see me. All the happiness that is you!

You are a treasured gift, and I can't believe I get to be your mama.

Here are some fun facts about my girl--

Between 6 and 7 months your first tooth popped through.

And since then, you've been eating a lot of apple sauce. You've also tried avocado and banana. Yum on the banana. You gave an "eh" to the avocado.

During bath night recently I tried Burt's Bees shampoo again, and you are definitely allergic to it. But oddly enough a cheap brand that I don't like using doesn't affect you. So for now, I guess that's what we'll use for your bath time.

And speaking of bath time, you really seem to enjoy it. You've had two big girl baths and one of them was with Boushka. She washed you--although if you ask her, she "spit" on you. HA!

You've been to the park a few times, and I've put you in the baby swing. But you don't seem to care too much about it. I think you could take it or leave it.

You are still in size 3 diapers. You can wear 6-9 month clothing, but I also put you in some 12 month clothing.

I love to put bows and flowers on headbands and put them in your hair. And just the other day you decided the headband had to go. You've never cared about it being on your head, and suddenly you've discovered that A)you don't like it and B)you can pull it off! Little stinker!

You recently went bowling for the first time--well, I guess you watched your sisters and mama bowl, but you enjoyed all the action!

I think it has something to do with being the youngest of five very active and energetic girls, but you always love to look out for action. It keeps you going!

Okay, so a touchy subject for us----SLEEP! GIVE ME SOME AND I PROMISE TO BE NICER! 'NUF SAID!

You typically get up 2 times a night. And frankly at 7 months, that's just too much for me. I'm not askin' for much, but if you could just sleep until 5, that'd be perfect!

And I admit I'm part of your problem. You see, I have a little problem with taking advantage of your middle-of-the-night wakings. I occasionally sneak in extra cuddle time after you are finished eating. Sometimes, yes, it's because I fell asleep. But sometimes, it's only because I want to snuggle my baby.

And just look at you, who wouldn't want to snuggle this fluffy lady baby?

I love you so much Scrunchie. Thanks for putting up with my mothering flaws, and loving me through it all. I want nothing but the best for you. I hope and pray you'll have dreams, chase them, and see them come true.
XO XO,
MAMA

She is a doll! Love love the pictures, such a happy baby.
You might have to put her through bow/headband boot camp, I had to do this with my girls (I'll explain later).
Have fun at MOPS tuesday I'll be missing you guys :(

Joely slept through the night the past two months, but now he gets up around 3:30am for a feeding. I am always like, "man I'm gonna be cranky in the morning," but I'm cherishing the extra snuggle and cuddle time with him too. We'll never get this back!
