I was trying to sneak a couple pictures before the party started, and this one was trying to sneak some snacks before the party started. BUSTED!!
We had a busy day full of soccer games, so the only time that our schedule matched with the availability of the carrousel was at 6:30 at night. So we served a light meal. There were PB&Js for the kiddos and chicken salad for the big kids--these sandwiches came form Donald's Deli. Goofy's Goldfish made an appearance again this year (read: my lovely friend Caroline made some tabel tents for our Mickey party last year and I reused them this year). Daisy also brought her veggie garden and served a yummy dip that went well with the veggies and the chips on the table.
Once people started arriving, all the kids dropped off their present and headed outside to play.
Well, a certain kiddo hung back a little bit to see if cake would be handed out anytime soon.
Gift table.
One of the many kid tables.
Some of our sweet friends.
Miss Traci and her the Hunk!
Birthday Boushka smiling for the camera.
After they ate, they all went back outside.
Here's one birthday girl with one of her "hissies" as she says. She's trying to say "sissies."
After everyone was done eating and playing, we headed back inside for a scavenger hunt. It was just a game I bought at the party store, but it was a good time. Daddy hid all the cards in the carrousel room.
We broke the kids into teams of three or so, and then we turned them loose.
And they were off...
I did make them pose for a picture every once in a while. They're all just too cute!
Boushka talks about her friend, Anna, all the time. She's such a special girl.
This girl loved her ride on the birthday horse!
This girl cheesing it with Auntie.
Obligatory picture with her cake. I have one friend that makes cakes--she's talented, isn't she?!
Here are the cakes together. Lynette--feel free to steal this picture.
And here's little sister with her cake.
These two cuties are so special.
Time to blow out the candles!
Each girl got a turn with mommy helping to blow out the candles!
And of course there were presents. These girls were blessed beyond measure with the sweet gifts from their friends.
And it's never too late to stuff your face with cake.
We were so happy and grateful for everybody who came to celebrate these two sweethearts. I'm so glad so many people genuinely care for these two--that's always the best gift!

That was such a fun party! And, as a side note, I never noticed that Keian and I have the same hair color. I could totally claim him as my own, hmm...
