Oh my, four years have come and gone. Four years of loving my third little girl. Four years of not only surviving by feeding her, clothing her, cleaning up after her, and washing her-- but four years of thriving by loving on, hugging on, kissing on, playing with, coloring with, tickling to pieces, and reading to.
At four, she's nearly as tall as her older sister. Still a snuggle bug. A big fan of Daddy. A girl who divides her love equally between Dora and Minnie. A sister who shares a room with another sister. A girl who adores pink and purple. A person who is worth everything that is good and true and beautiful because she is human and she is here. She is part of God's creation. She is somebody who was brought to this earth to serve a purpose only she can serve. And that, my friends, is truly a miracle.
She has a beautiful heart. Full of love and kindness. She strives to do better than she did the day before. She enjoys helping people. She was born to laugh. She makes me a stronger person, smarter mother, and more fulfilled. She's given me the gift of (more) patience, more reliance on God, being more of a think-before-you-speak person, and the ability to recognize a quiet moment in which you grab your favorite 3 year old (almost four year old) and snuggle her while you read a book she's brought to you with big, sweet, pleading eyes that you can in no way turn down. And for that, sweet girl, I can never think you enough.
You will always be loved, completely unconditionally, no matter what. Regardless of bad days, bad grades, fights, flights, size, shape, loves, dislikes or... well, anything... I will love you forever and for always. You own one of my (5) hearts and you always will. There is a magical spirit in your soul that makes me smile just by thinking about it. The light you shine when you giggle and laugh reminds of the innocence I wish you'd hold onto forever and never lose.
I love you, baby girl. Just know no matter what, you'll always matter to me!
Love, Mama
