Here are some random pictures that haven't made it to the blog.
The two dancers in their dance dress. They are both in tap and ballet this year, and Brownie is also in jazz. This is her first year for jazz and she loves it!
Both girls are in the Nutcracker again this year. So for their dancer salute, I had them pose for a picture. This one won!
Here they are trying on costumes. Bug is going to be the Arabian Doll. And Brownie is going to be the Hungarian Doll. Though in this picture, she is dressed as the Italian Doll. They've been rehearsing about six or so weeks on the weekends. And starting this weekend, we'll be rehearsing for longer periods of times, twice a weekend. That must mean only one thing... it's getting closer! If you know me in real life, feel free to let me know if you'd like some tickets to see our tiny dancers.

Our sweet Brownie girl has been going through some issues with her belly, and we are still trying to figure out how to best control them. She's been to the Childrens hospital that is nearby, and they've done a few procedures on her. She was actually put under a few weeks ago, and we were a little nervous. None of us have ever been completely under, so it was mostly the unknown--but you just never know how it'll go with anybody. And having such a tiny girl go under--our tiny girl--made for some crazy nerves.

However, as they started her procedure, Matt and I were ushered to the waiting room where we were told to expect 1-1.5 hours of a wait. The 30 minutes we waited, this little guy decides to start smiling. He was 5 weeks and 3 days old. I just can't believe how entertained he kept us with his sweet smiles. He kept us grounded as we waited for our sweet girl to get through her procedure. And after 30 minutes, we were told she was waking up and doing fine. What a relief. And thanks to this guy, it was a little easier to wait it out.
Just the week before the procedure, we had our initial appointment at the hospital. They drew labs and took some x-rays, and then we went to eat and visited a couple shops at the adjoining mall. I was glad to be able to make Brownie's day just a little bit better with a special treat.

And here's one from waaaay back in September--September 19 to be exact. Peach (and the rest of the gang) came to the hospital to visit her new brother, went down to the cafeteria for lunch and bit into a fry, and came back with a loose tooth. We were all excited for her--this girl had just turned 7 and felt like the only one who wasn't loosing teeth on a semi-regular basis. Well, I got a call the next day saying somebody had lost that tooth. I was sad that I couldn't be there to hug her and congratulate her, but I did it from my hospital bed. And sure enough, despite the fact that her father and I were away, the tooth fairy came!
I made this cute little tie onzie when I was 30 some odd weeks pregnant. I couldn't wait to pose my little guy with a pumpkin in this get-up, but real life interfered with my plans and this is the only shot I got of my guy in his orange tie!

This girl is always into mischief, and one of her favorite things to get into is the piano (or as Boushka calls it "pinano"). She reaches up to the keys and hit the notes. She'll even get herself onto the bench and play a song.
I caught her in the act the other day, and so she decided to put on a little show for me.

The older two girls were treated to a manicure. For their birthday, they were given gift cards for this service.
I am pretty sure they enjoyed it quite a bit!
We took them to Outback where they got mac and cheese. And then we finished up at Target where they got to spend their gift cards for shopping.

This was around the same time Bug celebrated her birthday. I was able to come to her little celebration at school and snap a picture. She took lemonade Popsicles for snack.
That day we also went to Brownie's soccer party at a pizza joint. The girls had a great time getting together for the end of the season.

I know this sounds weird, or maybe even horrible, but with each baby I like to capture them crying. You know that newborn cry that all babies have, I never want to forget it, but I do. So I've captured my baby boy--crying his eyes out. I snapped two pictures and recorded a few seconds worth of video. And then I promised I scooped him up and loved on him a whole bunch. But that was a small price to pay so I can have his little cry on video forever.
That's all the randomness I have for October. November will be coming soon.
