Fun With Laundry

Just the other day, Kenli decided that Keira needed to sit in the laundry basket. Of course, I'm looking for any excuse to stop doing laundry, so I agree that we should put her in the basket. Well, then Kenli needed to get in too. I couldn't help myself from the camera.

As soon as the camera appeared, Kenli reached for me to release her from the prison basket leaving Keira all alone. At first, Keira thought this would be okay, but she quickly became upset with sissy leaving.

What can I say, the two cuties are often inseparable!

Time is of the Essence

With some of my friends out there blogging away, I decided to give it a shot. I like the idea, so as I tend to say in life, "Why not?" Actually, I'm going to try blogging in place of scrapbooking. As I have come to find out the past 20 months, finding time to paste pictures of my darlings on beautiful card stock is nearly impossible (thanks for the tip, Heidi)! So, I hope this will take the place of the hobby I wish I had time for.


Being rather new to parenthood, Matt and I are still palying the balancing act with our time. So many parts of our lives demand attention and consume our time--and because of this we are always on the cusp of something. Recently we've been on the cusp of going crazy, but that's the way we like it---most of the time. Keeping busy gives you plenty of reasons to blog. Unfortunatley, the above picture is the most up-to-date family picture we have. And yes, it is about five months old. Hopefully with this blog, I will take more family pictures.
